The Site Manager - UAE coordinates and oversees the day to day operations, maintenance, personnel, and services at assigned area of responsibility to ensure service quality to the customer.

Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)

  • Responsible for all aspects of task order performance and oversees all task order operations possessing full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operations.
  • Achieve all requirements and service delivery objectives as defined in the Performance Work Statement.
  • Manage basic support services and accompanying labor force for assigned location that includes team of US nationals supervising skilled and/or semi-skilled foreign and local nationals.
  • Become familiar with local culture and customs to ensure appropriate conduct of personnel.
  • Ensure that employees adhere the Armed Forces and host nation standards of conduct concerning in-theater operations.
  • Attend staff meetings, planning meetings, marketing and EFSS meetings and other meetings as requested by the government customer.
  • Serve as the lead communicator with the designated government customer on functional, operational and/or personnel issues/risks.
  • Respond to potential discrepancies, customer service complaints, identify causes and develop and implement resolution plans.
  • Identify and communicate potential requirement changes, concerns and issues.
  • Collect accurate and timely data for quality input to company or government meetings, performance evaluation boards and required reports.
  • Effectively manage employee issues that may arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Must fluently read, write, speak and understand English and use those skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be familiar with and be capable of using technical manuals and refewrences all local operating instructions and policy letters for Non-appropriated Funds operations.
  • Must be capable of sound decision making.
  • Background displaying ability to staff, organize, lead and manage a diverse work force.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Valid US driver's license and ability to qualify for an international driver's license.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance at proper level.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of documented experience in services management or customer related occupations.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Military experience and/or experience working the hospitality industry.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
  • Long hours, exposure to weather and potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Possible movement of operations on no/short notice and under adverse conditions.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
